The Great Lakes Towing Company of Cleveland, OH, built their own tug Texas in 1916. In 1951 the Texas was converted to diesel-electric power. She is currently stationed at Green Bay, WI. Texas provides assistance to vessels on the Fox River, Menominee River, and nearby areas.
