Tender 6

This small tug was built in 1928 by American Boiler Works in Erie, Pennsylvania as the Tender 6 for the State of New York. After spending its entire life working on the New York State Barge Canal system, the Tender 6 was removed from service in the 2010s and intentionally sunk as part of an artificial reef in the Atlantic Ocean off Long Island in 2018.
