This handsome tug was built in 1954 by Burton Shipyard as the Captain Bennie. In 1982 she was renamed Dumar Scout. Roen Salvage of Sturgeon Bay, WI acquired the tug in 1987, and renamed her Stephan M. Asher.

Stephan M. Asher works across the upper Great Lakes in the dredging and construction trades.
