This large tug was built in 1970 by Main Iron Works for Sun Transport Inc. as the Seminole Sun. She was acquired by Maritrans Operating Partners in 1997, and renamed Declaration. Two years later, in 1999, she was purchased by Hornbeck Offshore Services and renamed Caribe Service. The tug went into lay-up in 2009, and remained inactive for Hornbeck after they sold their operating tug and barge fleet to Genesis Energy. In 2015, the Caribe Service was sold to Andrie Inc. of Muskegon, MI, where she was renamed Sarah Andrie.
Sarah Andrie is active pushing the tank barge A-390 on the Great Lakes, primarily out of Whiting, Indiana.
