The tug Pride was built in 1957 by Strege Fisheries as a fish tug. She was eventually sold Canadian, and later sold to Willy’s Contracting of Southampton, ON. Willy’s converted the Pride into a towing vessel in 2003.
The Pride is used to dock ships in Sarnia, ON, as well as breaking ice in that area and providing towing and escort services as needed on Lake Huron and the St. Clair River.
