Pointe Comeau

Built in 1976, this Voith-Schneider tractor tug began life as the Pointe Comeau for the Cargill Grain Company. While Cargill owns the tug, Eastern Canada Towing operated the vessel on a long-term contract. ECTug was eventually acquired by Svitzer Canada Ltd. of Halifax, NS. In 2017, Le Groupe Ocean of Quebec, QC took over the operation of the Pointe Comeau.

Pointe Comeau is based in Baie Comeau, QC, where she performs ship docking services at the Cargill Grain facility for her owner.
