This veteran tug was built in 1959 by P.K. Harris & Sons of Appledore, England as Stranton for European owners; however, it was resold to McAllister Towing of Canada prior to delivery. The tug was renamed Helen M. McAllister and entered service for McAllister. In 1997, the tug was sold to Ocean Group of Quebec, QC, who rebuilt the tug with a new wheelhouse, and also repowered it with new engines. During the rebuild she was renamed Ocean Golf.

Ocean Golf is currently based in Hamilton, ON. She provides ship-docking and icebreaking services on Lake Ontario.
