North Carolina

This veteran tug was built in 1908 by the Great Lakes Towing Company as their own L.C. Sabin. In 1941 she was renamed North Carolina. The North Carolina was converted to diesel power in 1951. In 1968, she sank on Lake Erie off Mentor-on-the-Lake, OH.
