New Mexico

The classic tug New Mexico was built in 1910 by the Great Lakes Towing Company in Cleveland, OH as their own W.L. Mercereau. In 1937 she was renamed New Mexico. The tug was converted from steam to diesel power in 1957. In 1997 the tug was transferred to the Puerto Rico Towing & Barge Company and renamed Punta Lima. The tug’s current whereabouts are unknown.
