The veteran tug Minnesota was built in 1911 by the Great Lakes Towing Company at their Cleveland, OH yard for their own use. In 1960, she was converted to diesel. In 2021 the Minnesota was renamed Tennessee, and was repowered with the engine from its fleetmate Rhode Island. She is currently stationed in Chicago, Illinois.
