Maryland

This classic tug was built in 1925 by the for the Great Lakes Towing Company of Cleveland, OH as the Maryland. She was converted from steam to diesel power in 1952. In 1982 she was renamed Tarawa, and in 1983 she was renamed Pasco. Her name changed back to Maryland later in 1983. In 1998, the Maryland sank at her dock in Burns Harbor, IN. She was raised and cut up for scrap.
