The z-drive tug Leonard M was built in 1986 by McTay Marine of Bromborough, England as Point Halifax for Eastern Canada Towing of Halifax, Nova Scotia. In 2012 she was sold to McKeil Marine of Hamilton, Ontario, who renamed the tug Leonard M.
Leonard M is active in the stone and bulk trades on the Great Lakes with the barge Huron Spirit.
