The tug Victorious was built in 2009 by Penglai Bohai Shipyard of Penglai, China for McAsphalt Transportation. She was renamed Leo A. McArthur in 2017. She is fitted with an Articouple coupling system and is mated to the heated liquid asphalt barge John J. Carrick.
The Leo A. McArthur and her barge can be found operating around the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence year-round.
