Lac Erie

This tug was built in 1944 as the Tanac 74 for the Royal Canadian Navy. In 1957, she was sold civilian to Oka Sand & Gravel, who renamed the tug Lac Erie. In 1961, she was acquired by the Miron Company. McKeil Marine Limited of Hamilton, ON purchased the tug in 1966. In the early 2000s, the tug was sold to Vic Powell Welding of Dunnville, ON, and placed in lay-up. She was eventually scrapped in Port Maitland, ON.
