Joyce L. VanEnkevort

The articulated tug Joyce L. VanEnkevort was built in 1998 by Bay Shipbuilding of Sturgeon Bay, WI for VanEnkevort Tug & Barge of Escanaba, MI. She is paired with the self-unloading barge Great Lakes Trader.

The VanEnkevort operates in the ore, coal, and aggregate trades, and is one of the busiest and most powerful tugs on the Great Lakes, in addition to being a proven icebreaker during the winter months.
