This tug was built in 1956 by Davie Shipbuilding Limited as the Robert B. No. 1 for their own use. She was sold to Quebec Tugs Limited in 1976, where she retained her name. In 1992, the tug was sold to McKeil Marine Limited of Hamilton, ON. She continued to operate as the Robert B. No. 1 until 1997, when she was renamed Jarrett McKeil. The tug was retired in the 2000s and sold to Heddle Marine Limited, who kept the tug in lay-up. In 2012, she was scrapped in Hamilton.

  1. I learned a lot from Capt Dave Knowles. We did two trips from Montreal to Hamilton .with two barges in tow. between dave and his skill and the boats ability it was no problem
