This tug was built in 1946 by George Gamble as the fish tug H.H. Misner for Henry H. Misner Ltd. She was later sold to Black Creek Construction and converted to a towing vessel. The company’s name was later changed to Great Lakes Offshore Services.

H.H. Misner is active in the marine contracting trades on Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.
