Fjord Saguenay

The Z-drive tug Fjord Saguenay was built in 2006 by East Isle Shipyard of Georgetown, PEI as the Stevns Iceflower for Nordane Shipping of Denmark. From 2007 to 2009 the tug was chartered to Svitzer Towing and named Svitzer Njord. She was returned to Nordane and 2009 and renamed Stevns Iceflower once again. Later in 2009 she was purchased by Rio Tinto Alcan of La Baie, QC. She returned to Canada and was renamed Fjord Saguenay.

Fjord Saguenay provides icebreaking and ship assist services on the Saguenay River with her sister Fjord Eternité.
