Dewitt Clinton

This veteran tug was built in 1926 by the Rice Brothers Company in East Boothbay, Maine as the Dewitt Clinton for the State of New York, working on the inland barge canals. It was rebuilt with new cabins at some point. The tug has worked on the canals its entire career and is currently owned by the New York State Canal Corporation, however it has been out of service for the past several years and may be retired. The tug is currently laid up in Lyons, New York.
