This tug was built in 1942 by Russel Brothers Limited as the Lac Kenogami for the Price Brothers. She was later purchased by the Port of Montreal and renamed Marcel D. In 1997, she was renamed Denis M.

Denis M is active performing various jobs around Montreal, such as removing fenders or measuring the depth of the harbor.
