Great Lakes Towing built their own Delaware at their Cleveland, OH yard in 1924. In 1951 she was converted to diesel-electric power. The Delaware was retired by the Towing Company in the mid-2000’s, and was placed in lay-up as a parts source at the Company’s yard in Cleveland. In 2014, the veteran tug was sold for scrap.
