This tug was built in 2017 by the Great Lakes Shipyard of Cleveland, OH as the Cleveland for Great Lakes Towing. The Cleveland was the first tug built by GLT for its own use since 1931, to the Damen Stan Tug 1907 ICE design. It is designed for ship assist and icebreaking services.
