This small tug was built in 1936 by Manitowoc Shipbuilding of Manitowoc, WI as their own Manshipco. She was used as a yard tug around the shipyard until 1980, when she was sold to Luedtke Engineering of Frankfort, MI. There her name was changed to Chris E. Luedtke.
Chris E. Luedtke works as a dredge tender for Luedtke around the Great Lakes.
