Articulated Tugs

Although popular on all coasts of the U.S. and Canada, experimentation with articulated tugs began on the Great Lakes. However, the concept never caught fire (at least not in the dry bulk trades), but there are still a large number of articulated tugs of varying sizes that ply the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River. Here they are listed with their horsepower (greatest to smallest) and coupling system.
